The love for design came early, causing me to get a hernia at age seven from moving all of the furniture in the house.  I began my professional journey in 2016 with a degree in Interior Design from the University of Central Missouri.  Renovating several personal homes has given me hands on experience with a strong appreciation for quality craftsmanship.  I began working as an independent  contractor contributing to residential and boutique commercial projects.  In the spring of 2021 I opened Tara Atkins Interiors.  I give the utmost attention to every detail.  Working together to create a beautiful and comfortable home for you is my heart's desire.
